Find and Replace 9.00jx5 (Beta)

This version supports Access 2007 (as well as 2000, 2002, 2003) with the exception that (when used with Access 2007) macros can only be searched, not modified. Fixes a problem with registration in 9.00jx2 with Access 2007. Please note that the preferred method of  installation is to open the replace9.mde file directly and click the Install button on the installation form.   If you use the Access Add-in manager please be aware that it copies the replace9.mde file into your profile and other users will not be able to use Find and Replace (this is especially problematic when an admin installs for you).

To install:

1. Extract the replace9.mde and replace9.hlp files to a directory of your choice. This directory must have permissions that allow write capability to the user who will use Find and Replace.

2 Make sure you are logged on to a user ID that has authority to install software. Generally this means the user is a member of the administrators or power users group. Close any open Access sessions. Start Access. Open the replace9.mde file. A form should open that has an Install button. Click this and it should install.  Note: if you are running Windows Vista you will probably have to turn off User Account Control to install.
